Happy Friday Everyone!
I will keep my post short this week. I hear you all cheering....none of that!
Your WOD for this Friday is a repeat of a workout you did before. It is:
WOD #2
5 push-ups
10 sit-ups (shoulder blades should hit the floor and no swinging arms)
15 air squats (go parallel to the ground)
AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in 10 minutes. You did this back in May, so get after it, set a goal, and beat your rounds for last time.
OK...that's enough from me. Finish the race girls! We're almost there.
Win The Day!

Hey everyone! I got 15 rounds in ten minutes.. which is quite the improvement from my 5 from the first time. Then again, when I first did this one I hadn't quiet mastered the whole blog thing, so I just looked at the WOD sheet and saw that we had to do 50 air squats, which is much different than 15. I remember being so embarrassed to post my rounds because all of you had so much more than I did, but now I realize why :) I can't believe one month from today I will be heading up to Whitworth! I am so excited to start the season and meet all of you :)
ReplyDeleteI got 23 rounds in 10 minutes technically but what I have realized after looking at the post again after is that I was going 15 sit ups instead of 10 so even though I did only improve by one round I think I could have definitely gotten a couple more if I would have done 10 sit-ups instead of the 15! It would have added up to a good amount of time to do more I think :) hope you are all enjoying what's left of summer! It's getting closer to season :)
ReplyDeleteI got 14 rounds which is a slight improvement from 12 rounds in May. This time around I definitely did more complete sit ups which probably added to my time as well. Like Karina said, I can't believe it's a month until we all meet and start our adventure! I'm so excited and I hope everyone has a great day :)
ReplyDeleteI got 15 rounds, this was my first attempt at this challenge because I was at state track the first time around! I hope everyone has a great weekend and I am getting more and more anxious to meet everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteHi guys!!:) Soo sorry that I haven't been posting. I have been super busy but fortunately I always find time to do the workouts:) My phone won't let me post my times/rounds and every time I get home I forget. I finally remembered for today!! I got 14 rounds in 10 minutes which is a SLIGHT improvement from my first time which was 13. Have a good weekend!:)
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! I only got 7 rounds in 10 minutes. I dropped a sofa on my foot yesterday so the push ups and squats were pretty rough and I had to take a few breaks to relieve some pain. Wish I was at 100% health to track my process, but it's better that it's now and not in season! I'll be at camp the next three weeks, so I'll be sure to post my times once I'm back to reception and wifi! See you all soon!
ReplyDeleteHelloooo all :) I can't wait to get back with everyone again and meet all you new freshmen! I did 13 rounds today :) I have been sore all week and I know I will wake up tomorrow even more sore! Keep working out ladies!
ReplyDeleteHello! I actually did this workout yesterday, I just totally spaced on posting! Sorry guys! I'll be better next time :) Anyways, I was in the middle of my 15th round when the timer went off!
ReplyDeleteJob well done to all of you!
I got 13 rounds this time. One up from my 12 last time. Have a great weekend everyone:)
ReplyDeleteahh I just got time to post this! I did the workout on Friday and I completed 19 rounds!
ReplyDeleteHello team! Sorry about the late post. I got 18 rounds for the WOD on Friday. I hope that everyone had a fun weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHi everyone!!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late post!
I was able to complete 14 rounds.
Can't wait to see you all in just under a month!!
This one felt really good for my quads but I was also doing jumping exercises before that. The sit ups slowed me down! I got fourteen rounds, but I will get better! Im determined! Way to push me guys.
